Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and measure them out.
  • In a large bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, ginger, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  • Add chicken wings to the marinade, tossing gently to coat. Marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange marinated wings in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  • For extra crispiness, switch to broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.

Serving

  • Let wings rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Notes

Wings can be prepared ahead of time and even frozen for later. For spice, add chili flakes to the marinade.
