  • Serving dish
  • Piping bag or ziplock bag

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream plus extra for spiderweb topping
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • ½ cup sliced olives
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare and dice all ingredients including tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and olives.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 8–10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning to the beef and stir well, cooking for an additional 2–3 minutes to combine flavors.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  • Layer the dip: spread seasoned beef on the bottom of a serving dish, then add the cream cheese-sour cream mixture evenly over it.
  • Top with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, lettuce, olives, and onions for color and crunch.
  • Place remaining sour cream in a piping or ziplock bag and draw a spiderweb pattern on top of the dip for a spooky presentation.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips or refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy your festive Spiderweb Taco Dip!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or vegetarian crumbles for beef. Add guacamole or salsa layers for extra flavor, or make it dairy-free with vegan cream cheese and sour cream.
